As a Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LPC, LMFT, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist), you will be part of a dynamic team that provides high-quality clinical services to improve the quality of life for older adult patients in long-term care and rehabilitation centers.

Requirements

  • Currently licensed in Connecticut as a LPC, LMFT, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist
  • Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology
  • Strong clinical experience in geriatric mental health, with a focus on older adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group therapy to patients with various mental health conditions, including cognitive impairment, depression, anxiety, and behavioral disturbances
  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-social assessments to identify patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate and detailed records
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and interdisciplinary conferences to stay current with best practices and guidelines
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care, empathy, and cultural sensitivity
