About The Position

Restore Dispensaries, a premier multi-state medical marijuana dispensary founded in 2018, is seeking a Licensed Medical Professional on a per diem basis for its location. This role is crucial for ensuring clinical integrity, patient safety, and full compliance with the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program. The professional will conduct patient consultations, oversee medication dispensing, and monitor all medical transactions for safety and regulatory adherence. The position reports to the Dispensary Manager, with indirect supervision from the Lead Pharmacist/LMP. Applicants must have completed the required 4-hour certification training through the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program. Reimbursement for this certification is offered upon employment, with a requirement to repay if the company is voluntarily left within 12 months of reimbursement.

Requirements

  • Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Completion of the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program 4-hour certification training
  • Strong understanding of medical marijuana products, dosing methodologies, and delivery systems
  • Knowledge of Pennsylvania DOH cannabis regulations
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment
  • Excellent communication and patient counseling skills

  • Previous experience in a medical marijuana dispensary
  • Advanced knowledge of cannabinoid pharmacology and drug interactions

Responsibilities

  • Provide consultations to new and returning patients regarding product selection, dosing, and methods of consumption.
  • Assess patient needs and ensure appropriate education for safe medication use.
  • Answer clinical and therapeutic questions with evidence-based guidance.
  • Support patient understanding of potential benefits, risks, and responsible use.
  • Ensure full compliance with Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program rules and regulations.
  • Verify patient eligibility and program compliance before dispensing.
  • Monitor each medical transaction within the dispensary for safety and regulatory accuracy.
  • Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping in accordance with DOH standards.
  • Maintain readiness for scheduled and unscheduled regulatory inspections.
  • Collaborate with dispensary leadership to uphold safe dispensing practices.
  • Assist with workflow coordination to maintain patient care standards during peak volume.
  • Support cross-functional tasks when appropriate, including patient greeting and floor presence.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for dispensary staff.
