This position is for a Licensed Mechanic II in Corporate Aviation, focusing on building a career in aviation. The role involves performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on business jet airframes and systems. Key responsibilities include removing and reinstalling turbofan and turboprop engines, conducting operational checks, engine runs, and leak checks to verify serviceability. The mechanic will troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, landing gear, flight control, and other airframe systems, evaluate removed components for serviceability, and document and resolve discrepancies. Additionally, the role requires reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical data, performing fuel tank sealing and other specialized structural tasks, and accomplishing Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directives in accordance with FAA and OEM standards. All work must be documented clearly, accurately, and in compliance with StandardAero procedures, while adhering to all safety, environmental, and quality standards in a professional MRO setting.
