About The Position
The Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) will provide psychosocial support and discharge planning services for patients in an inpatient medical/surgical setting. The role involves assessing patient needs, offering therapeutic support, and coordinating appropriate referrals to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year of LMSW experience
- Master’s Degree in Social Work
- Active Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an inpatient or acute care setting
- Strong communication, assessment, and care coordination skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments
