Licensed Master Social Worker - Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health - Fayetteville, NY
About The Position
Provides evaluation and individual and group therapy in an Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health setting. The role delivers intensive casework, assessment, intervention, and referral services to patients and/or their families. It emphasizes addressing patients’ social needs and exercising initiative and independent judgment based on professional knowledge, experience, and hospital policy. The position also serves as a liaison to other services along the continuum of care and to community support services. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, typically 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with hours that can flex until 8:00 p.m. twice a week. It is based at Northeast Medical Center in Fayetteville, New York. The site is an HRSA site, and loan forgiveness is available for Licensed Clinical Social Workers.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited graduate school of social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling.
- New York State license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
