About The Position
Thriveworks Counseling is seeking individuals pursuing Connecticut State Licensure as a LCSW in Connecticut to provide telehealth sessions. Requirements
- Approved by the board as a Licensed Masters Social Worker
- Must be seeking independent licensure and living in Connecticut
- A graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program
- Graduate or Post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety is required
- Consistently available to clients for a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of availability weekly
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.
- This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship, either now or in the future.

- Graduate or Post-graduate work experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing according to the current DSM-5 under a licensed supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Provide telehealth sessions.
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to clients.
- Independently conduct intakes and diagnose according to the current DSM-5 under a licensed supervisor (preferred).
- Treat a variety of clients, including couples and children.
- Help clients achieve measurable progress.
- Work with modern clinical technology, including telehealth and EHR tools.
- Be a good teammate and positive contributor to the clinical community.
