Licensed Massage Therapist
About The Position
Hand and Stone in Midvale UT is looking for an outgoing, talented, reliable Licensed Massage Therapist. We are currently open for business and actively hiring. We are a very busy spa with massage therapists of all experience levels. Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is a rapidly expanding massage and facial spa franchise with over 500 locations nationwide. Your expertise in massage therapy will make you an important part of our team. We book your appointments and provide all supplies so you can focus on the client. Join a growing team in a positive work environment. Compensation is a percentage of each total service performed plus all gratuities and other bonus incentives. We offer an array of commission-able upgrades to add to our clients’ relaxation, including Hot Stones and Himalayan Salt Stones.
Requirements
- Must adhere to state licensing laws and regulations.
- Must carry liability insurance.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, spa management, and staff.
- Knowledge of Swedish Massage required.
- Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of other various modalities preferred (Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Pre-natal, Craniosacral, Reiki, Deep Tissue), but not required.
Responsibilities
- Design specific treatment plans based on client's individual needs.
- Create an excellent experience for members/guests through a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Generate new clientele by promoting member referrals and memberships.
- Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas.
