About The Position

Tidepools Spa, located inside Headlands Coastal Lodge, offers spa and wellness services tailored to the Pacific Northwest lifestyle. The spa features massage and facial treatments using Phytomer products, state-of-the-art fitness equipment, a wellness studio, sauna, and an outdoor hot tub with views of Chief Kiwanda Rock. The spa's culture emphasizes individual distinction and a collective passion for hospitality, encouraging team members to let their personalities shine and have fun. A licensed massage therapist is expected to deliver an extraordinary coastal experience, share a passion for healing arts and holistic wellness, and leverage expertise in multiple modalities. They will work collaboratively to ensure guests feel well cared for and maintain the spa's peaceful, rejuvenating atmosphere. The compensation includes 18% of the treatment cost, $55.00 commission per treatment, plus tips and an hourly wage.

Requirements

• Licensed by the local authorities for massage therapy.

Nice To Haves

• Specific training and certifications in massage therapy, specialty treatments, and body treatments as necessary.
• Advanced knowledge of standard anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology is preferred.
• Strong background in the fitness/spa services industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and be the expert in the Tidepools 60- and 90-minute treatment offerings.
• Maintain knowledge of our treatment menu offerings, descriptions, and treatment staff modalities.
• Understand back of house operations, including treatment room setup and standards.
• Work as a team to ensure the Tidepools guest experience meets the brand promise.
• Function as the primary contact for guests arriving and departing the spa wellness area, engaging and assisting each with exceptional, warm, personalized, and knowledgeable service.
• Ensure the room is set up properly prior to each treatment.
