About The Position

Hand & Stone in Doral is hiring a licensed Massage Therapist for a stable, positive spa environment. The therapist helps ensure guests have an outstanding experience by providing customized massage services, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting the spa’s service and retail programs. The role requires an active Florida Massage License, fluency in English and Spanish, and experience performing Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage. Therapists may perform consecutive 50- and 80-minute massages and must be able to work flexible days and hours. This position is with an independently owned and operated Hand and Stone franchisee, which is a separate employer from Hand and Stone Franchise Corp. The franchisee is responsible for employment decisions and the terms and conditions of employment. Compensation is $40.00–$50.00 per hour.

Requirements

Active Florida Massage License.
Knowledge of and experience performing Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage.
Knowledge of and experience performing other massage modalities.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, in a courteous and professional manner.
Fluency in English and Spanish.
Ability to complete a background check with satisfactory results and provide positive employment references.
Ability to work flexible days and hours.

Responsibilities

Follow applicable rules, guidelines, policies, and procedures when working with members and guests.
Provide excellent customer service and tailor services to client requests and observations.
Perform consecutive 50- and 80-minute massages.
Promote the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy and lifestyle programs.
Knowledgeably recommend services, products, and programs to members and guests.
Stay informed about retail products and promotions by reviewing communications and attending mandatory staff meetings.
Support team goals and help maintain a positive work environment by modeling exemplary behavior.
Maintain client confidentiality and communicate professionally with members, guests, coworkers, and management.
Adhere to applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations, including maintaining a current Massage License.
Participate in continuing education to improve effectiveness (preferred).
