About The Position
Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Brandon, FL is part of a multi-unit spa franchise with 4 locations in the Tampa Bay area. We have almost 7000 members across our 4 locations and are continuing to grow. Our first location opened 10 years ago in Brandon, and we are proud to have several employees who have been with us since the beginning. We provide a positive and uplifting work environment with a consistent clientele, all necessary supplies, and numerous opportunities for advancement. We offer flexible schedules, welcoming both new graduates and experienced therapists. We offer both part-time and full-time positions. We also provide continuing education training at no cost for in-house training and up to $100 annually in reimbursement credits. Requirements
- Active FL massage license, in good standing
- Carry massage liability insurance.
- Be able to communicate effectively with clients, spa management, and staff.
- Knowledge of Swedish Massage required.
- Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of other various modalities preferred (Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Pre-natal, Craniosacral, Reiki, Deep Tissue), but not required. Hand and Stone offer training in all modalities to our team members!
Responsibilities
- Design specific treatment plans based on client's individual needs.
- Create an excellent experience for members/guests through a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Generate new clientele by promoting member referrals and memberships.
- Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas.
