Requirements

Active Missouri Massage Therapy License
Current liability insurance
Strong knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics
Strong consultation and communication skills
Professionalism, punctuality, reliability, and strong service standards
Commitment to sanitation, compliance, and documentation standards
A client-first approach to care

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience in a spa, wellness clinic, or high-touch service environment
Specialty training in deep tissue, sports massage, prenatal massage, myofascial work, lymphatic support, TMJ-focused work, craniosacral therapy, or similar modalities
Comfort making thoughtful, personalized next-step recommendations
Experience with booking software or client management systems

Responsibilities

Provide customized massage therapy sessions based on each client’s goals, preferences, contraindications, and comfort level.
Perform services including relaxation massage, therapeutic and deep tissue massage, pain relief and recovery-focused work, stretching and mobility-supportive techniques, and specialty work such as prenatal massage, lymphatic support, myofascial release, TMJ-focused work, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular techniques, craniosacral therapy, or sports massage.
Utilize tools such as cupping, hot stones, CBD or topical support, and percussion tools.
Help clients understand their next best step through simple, supportive recommendations that stay within scope and are based on their actual goals.
