Licensed Massage Therapist
About The Position
Sports Physical Therapy is seeking an immediate hire for a Licensed Massage Practitioner in our friendly outpatient clinic. This role involves assessing clients' physical condition and medical history to determine the best massage techniques to use. You will consult with clients to discuss their needs and preferences, and establish treatment goals. Performing various massage techniques, such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and hot stone massage, among others, to relieve clients' pain, stress, and tension is a key part of this role. You will use appropriate pressure, rhythm, and flow of strokes during the massage to create a relaxing and therapeutic experience for clients. Maintaining accurate client records and documenting client progress to track treatment outcomes, and following proper hygiene and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment are also essential responsibilities.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited massage therapy program
- A valid license to practice massage therapy in Washington
- Proficiency in a wide range of massage therapy techniques, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, prenatal massage, and others.
- Communication skills
