About The Position

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) provides remote telehealth therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Sessions address relationship conflict, parenting concerns, separation, family stress, and other situations affecting clients’ relationships and daily lives. The therapist helps clients understand contributing patterns, improve communication, and work through relationship issues. The role includes maintaining current session notes and client records, coordinating with other providers or services when additional support is needed, protecting client privacy, maintaining professional boundaries, and complying with Louisiana requirements for LMFT practice. This is a full-time remote position based in Louisiana, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The salary is $115,000–$120,000 per year, with full benefits.

Requirements

Active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist license in Louisiana.
Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families.
Strong understanding of ethical, legal, and clinical documentation requirements.
Comfort using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Hold virtual therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families.
Address concerns related to relationships, parenting, separation, and family stress.
Help clients identify patterns contributing to ongoing problems.
Guide discussions about communication, trust, boundaries, and conflict.
Keep session notes and client records current.
