We are looking for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate the challenges of substance use, emotional wellness, and relationships. As an LMFT at Passages, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with clients as they make meaningful changes in their lives. You'll use your clinical expertise to help clients explore underlying issues, strengthen relationships, develop healthier coping strategies, and build a foundation for long-term recovery.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Current, valid California license in good standing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Current, valid California Driver License with a satisfactory driving record, as determined by company discretion.
  • Meet and maintain all applicable California requirements to provide supervision to Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and/or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors.
  • Maintain a current and active California LMFT license that is not suspended or on probation.
  • Successfully complete all applicable pre-employment requirements, including tuberculosis screening, background checks, driving record checks, drug screening, and professional reference checks.
  • Ongoing screenings and monitoring may be required during employment in accordance with applicable law and company policy.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and holidays, to support the needs of a 24/7/365 healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy, with an emphasis on relational and interpersonal healing.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing clinical assessments to identify client needs and treatment priorities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and follow-up plans based on each client’s goals and clinical needs.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Support clients in developing insight, improving relationships, and creating sustainable tools for recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with applicable standards and company policies.
  • Provide clinical supervision to Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and/or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors.
