About The Position
The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will provide telehealth services to individuals, couples, and families in Missouri. Clients may seek support for relationship strain, family tension, communication problems, and changes affecting life at home. The therapist will guide sessions, help clients address these concerns, and keep case-related clinical work organized and current.
Requirements
- Active LMFT license in the state of Missouri.
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience.
- Strong communication and telehealth skills.
- Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant platforms.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual sessions with individuals, couples, and families.
- Explore concerns affecting relationships and family life.
- Help clients work through conflict, communication issues, and major changes.
- Maintain clear and complete session notes.
- Review case progress and make changes when needed.
- Refer clients to additional services when appropriate.
- Protect client privacy and maintain professional boundaries.
- Follow Missouri LMFT licensing and ethical requirements.
