About The Position

We are looking for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida to join a full-time remote telehealth role supporting clients through relationship concerns, family stress, emotional challenges, and major life transitions. This position allows LMFT professionals to provide therapy from a remote setting while maintaining strong clinical structure and steady client care. In this role, you will spend your day providing therapy sessions, listening closely to client concerns, identifying patterns that keep clients stuck, and helping them work toward healthier decisions and stronger relationships. The position is best suited for a licensed clinician who is organized, steady in session, and confident providing care through a virtual platform.

Requirements

  • Active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Florida
  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
  • Previous experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, families, or relational systems
  • Strong understanding of treatment planning, clinical documentation, and ethical care standards
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems
  • Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for remote sessions
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and consistency

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote counseling services for clients seeking marriage, family, relationship, or individual therapy
  • Lead intake sessions and gather relevant clinical, relational, and psychosocial history
  • Develop treatment goals that are practical, client-centered, and appropriate for telehealth care
  • Guide clients through relationship concerns, family stress, emotional distress, conflict, and communication issues
  • Track progress over time and update treatment plans when clinically appropriate
  • Prepare accurate session notes, care updates, and required records
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Florida licensing standards, and professional ethics
  • Use sound judgment when referring clients for additional services or higher levels of care
