Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
About The Position
We are hiring a Vermont-licensed Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide telehealth therapy to individuals, couples, and families. The role focuses on concerns affecting relationships and home life, including conflict, communication difficulties, grief, stress, and major personal or family changes. The therapist will guide sessions, evaluate the issues affecting each case, and help clients work toward healthier and more manageable ways of relating to one another. This is a full-time remote position based in Vermont, scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The stated salary range is $115,000–$120,000 per year, with full benefits.
Requirements
- Active Vermont LMFT license in good standing.
- Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
- Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families.
- Comfort using telehealth platforms and EHR systems.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families.
- Review relationship history, family concerns, and current stressors.
- Help clients address communication problems, conflict, grief, and life changes.
- Establish a clear direction for therapy based on the issues presented.
- Maintain complete and accurate clinical records.
- Recognize risk concerns and respond according to established procedures.
- Follow Vermont LMFT licensing and telehealth requirements.
