This role involves providing therapy through a secure virtual platform to clients seeking support with relationships, family stress, emotional strain, communication issues, and personal growth. You will be responsible for delivering thoughtful clinical care, keeping clear documentation, and helping clients move through real-life challenges with structure and professional guidance.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field
Active and unrestricted Texas LMFT license
Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, families, or relational systems
Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems
Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for virtual sessions
Ability to manage a full-time caseload in a remote setting

Responsibilities

Provide remote counseling services to individuals, couples, and families
Review client concerns and establish therapy goals during intake and ongoing sessions
Guide clients through topics such as relationship conflict, emotional stress, family transitions, communication concerns, and coping skills
Prepare and update treatment plans based on client progress and clinical needs
Complete progress notes and required documentation within expected timelines
Maintain a professional telehealth environment for every session
Apply sound clinical judgment when addressing risk, referrals, and care coordination needs
Follow HIPAA, ethical standards, and Texas LMFT practice requirements
