Clients are looking for a therapist who can listen closely, ask useful questions, and keep care moving forward. You may support clients through communication challenges, family stress, relationship patterns, conflict, transitions, and emotional strain. The position is listed in Fairbanks, but the daily work happens through a secure virtual care model. The best candidate will be organized, thoughtful, and comfortable providing care in a virtual setting.
Requirements
- Active Alaska LMFT license in good standing
- Ability to help clients explore relationship patterns while keeping care practical and respectful
- Sound clinical judgment and comfort managing a full-time virtual caseload
- Master's degree in marriage and family therapy, counseling, psychology, or a closely related field
- Experience supporting individuals, couples, families, or relationship-centered clinical concerns
Responsibilities
- Maintain ethical boundaries and secure remote care practices
- Coordinate referrals or added support when clinically appropriate
- Complete clinical assessments, treatment plans, session notes, and progress updates
- Provide therapy for individuals, couples, or family-related concerns as assigned
