About The Position

Walmart is seeking a Licensed Manager/Plumbing in Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance across facilities in a regional area. The role leads a team of technicians and works to keep buildings operating efficiently and sustainably while maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for associates and customers. It involves approximately 50% or more regional travel and maintaining mechanical contractor licenses in the state of employment. The manager partners with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility service needs and works with vendors and contractors as needed. The role also includes reporting and analytics, maintaining contractor licenses, participating in training on regulatory requirements, conducting site inspections to monitor compliance and quality, and obtaining permits and scheduling inspections when required by applicable mechanical or building codes. The listed salary range is $90,000–$180,000, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and eligibility for bonus incentives. Individual compensation depends on candidate-specific factors.

Requirements

Maintain mechanical contractor licenses in the state of employment.
Approximately 50% or more travel within the region.
General facilities services or overall building maintenance experience; 3–5 years is described as optimal.
Electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience.
Leadership skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving skills, including root-cause and breakdown analysis experience.

Responsibilities
