About The Position

Walmart is seeking an experienced Licensed Manager in Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance across facilities in a regional area. The manager leads technicians and works to ensure buildings operate efficiently and sustainably while providing a safe and comfortable environment for associates and customers. The role requires approximately 50% or more regional travel and maintaining mechanical contractor licenses in the state of employment. The position also works with Store Managers, Facility Services Leadership, vendors, and contractors to address facility service needs.

Requirements

Maintain mechanical contractor licenses in the state of employment.
General facilities services or overall building maintenance experience; 3–5 years is described as optimal.
Electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience.
Leadership skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving skills, including root-cause and breakdown analysis experience.
Customer service skills.
Approximately 50% or more travel within the region.

Responsibilities

Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of facilities within a regional area.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of technicians.
Work with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility services needs.
Work with vendors and contractors as needed.
Perform reporting and analytics.
Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses and good standing with relevant authorities.
Participate in training to remain familiar with current regulatory requirements.
Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance and quality standards.
Obtain necessary permits and schedule inspections as required by applicable mechanical or building codes.
