About The Position
We are seeking 10 Licensed Laboratory Scientists to support laboratory operations at the California Department of Public Health in Sacramento, CA. Candidates will be responsible for performing laboratory testing, specimen processing, quality control, documentation, and other laboratory duties in accordance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and facility protocols.
Requirements
- Current applicable California laboratory scientist license required.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, specimen handling, and quality control.
- Ability to follow written protocols and maintain accurate documentation.
Nice To Haves
- Prior clinical, public health, hospital, reference lab, or government laboratory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing and analysis in accordance with established procedures.
- Process, prepare, and analyze specimens accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain proper documentation of testing, results, quality control, and corrective actions.
