About The Position

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a full-time Licensed Electrician for their ISC project within the electrical division. This position reports to the St. George office but will be based onsite in Delta, Utah. The role involves installation and execution of electrical construction projects, including bending conduit (EMT), wiring, industrial lighting, conduit rough-in for security and data communication systems, and distribution panels according to blueprints and NEC code. The company offers a travel compensation package with per diem and base pay, plus a $3/hourly incentive for this specific jobsite.

Requirements

Valid Utah electrical license
Be enrolled in the appropriate apprentice-level school program as an apprentice
High school diploma or GED
Willing to travel and work in Delta
Ability to work jobsite hours with possible overtime and weekends
Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Responsibilities

Installation and execution of electrical construction projects
Ability to bend conduit (EMT)
Wiring
Industrial lighting
Conduit rough in for security and data comm systems
Installation of distribution panels per blueprints and NEC code
Stand for long periods of time
Climb ladders several times in a row
Work with hands above your head with tools
Lift tools and equipment above your head several times
Lift up to 100lbs
Stretch, bend, stand, climb, and move continuously
Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude
Actively contribute to a positive team environment
Demonstrate dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours
Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electric Code
Be a self-starter and be dependable
