About The Position

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a full-time Licensed Journeyman Electrician for an Industrial, Commercial, and Service (ISC) project in Delta, Utah. This role reports to the St. George office but will be primarily onsite in Delta. The position offers a travel compensation package including per diem, base pay, and a $3/hourly incentive specific to this jobsite. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and execution of electrical construction projects, including bending conduit (EMT), wiring, industrial lighting, roughing in conduit for security and data communication systems, and installing distribution panels in accordance with blueprints and NEC code.

Requirements

• Valid Utah electrical license.
• Enrollment in the appropriate apprentice-level school program as an apprentice.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to travel and work in Delta.
• Ability to work jobsite hours with possible overtime and weekends.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Installation and execution of electrical construction projects.
• Bending conduit (EMT).
• Wiring.
• Installing industrial lighting.
• Roughing in conduit for security and data communication systems.
• Installing distribution panels per blueprints and NEC code.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Climbing ladders several times in a row.
• Working with hands above head with tools.
• Lifting tools and equipment above head several times.
• Lifting up to 100lbs.
• Stretching, bending, standing, climbing, and moving continuously.
• Demonstrating an aptitude for learning and a goal-oriented mindset for continual growth.
• Maintaining a "Can-Do" positive attitude.
• Actively contributing to a positive team environment.
• Demonstrating dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
• Demonstrating knowledge of the National Electric Code.
• Being a self-starter and dependable.
• Performing other duties or working in other locations as assigned by Manager.
