Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with LSW
  • LSW, LPC, MFT, or Master’s degree in psychology registered under supervision of a licensed psychologist.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial behavioral and mental health assessments for referred clients, including youth and families.
  • Schedule intake assessments in various settings such as schools, homes, community locations, or Child Focus offices based on client preference.
  • Guide families through the intake and registration process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, school personnel, and other service providers.
  • Deliver prevention and consultation services in schools, such as health promotion, education, early problem identification, and referral support.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Participate in the emergency on-call rotation to respond to urgent mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with both internal staff and external professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
  • Support students and families in accessing school-based resources through recommendations and referrals.
  • Potentially carry a small ongoing caseload.
