About The Position
The Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner provides therapy to adults and adolescents in Nebraska through telehealth. The practitioner manages a steady caseload, works directly with clients, and focuses on clinical care with limited unnecessary administrative demands. The role requires independent work, sound clinical decision-making, and consistent support throughout treatment. The position is full-time and remote, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The stated salary range is $115,000–$120,000 per year.
Requirements
- Active Nebraska LIMHP license.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Prior experience in outpatient or telehealth settings.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based therapy approaches.
- Ability to manage a steady clinical caseload.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients for scheduled virtual therapy sessions.
- Complete diagnostic evaluations and review clinical history.
- Identify concerns that should guide treatment.
- Provide ongoing therapy based on each client's needs.
- Keep progress notes and clinical records current.
- Respond to changes in symptoms, circumstances, or level of risk.
- Refer clients for additional services when appropriate.
- Follow Nebraska LIMHP licensing and professional requirements.
