About The Position

Provide behavioral health services that support treatment, rehabilitation, and long-term recovery for individuals with complex clinical needs. You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary team while making a meaningful impact in a structured behavioral health environment. At International SOS Government Medical Services, you'll support healthcare programs that improve patient care and operational readiness across the U.S. and internationally. Founded in 1984, International SOS operates in more than 90 countries, delivering healthcare, medical assistance, emergency response, and workforce support services worldwide. You'll work within a structured behavioral health environment supporting treatment, rehabilitation, and long-term patient outcomes for an adult patient population in a state correctional healthcare setting. You'll work independently within your scope of practice while collaborating with treatment teams, internal departments, and community support agencies to coordinate patient care and long-term treatment outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree.
  • Current BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Current active Ohio Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) license required and maintained in accordance with state continuing education requirements.
  • Ability to work with patients who may have behavioral or psychiatric conditions and meet role-related physical requirements, including occasional lifting up to 60+ lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and update individualized behavioral health treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, admissions coordination, and crisis intervention within scope of practice.
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, internal departments, community agencies, and external partners to support continuity of care.
  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness, modify interventions, and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings, training, and program improvement activities while supporting lower-level providers when appropriate.
