About The Position

Coeur d' Cremation is looking for a Resident Mortician to serve families at our Northern Idaho location in Coeur d’alene. This is a unique opportunity for the ideal candidate. Independence and creativity are valued. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm with occasional after hours and weekend work. No night-time removal work. You will enjoy the balance of serving families and avoid burning out with an employee friendly schedule. This is a full-time benefited position.

Requirements

Licensed Embalmer/Mortician in Idaho State
Possess general office skills, such as typing, filing, sending and receiving
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
Ability to function and excel in high volume, fast pace environment
Cooperative, team player, detail-oriented and adaptable to change
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills
Commitment to customer service and quality control
Efficient and dependable; punctual
Demonstrate commitment to safety
Must be able to lift 25 to 50 pounds without assistance and 75 to 200 pounds with assistance
Sit or stand for long periods of time
Withstand short periods of exposure to the elements
Must be a Licensed Mortician in the State of Idaho

Consistently and accurately present goods and services and related documents according to the FTC funeral rule and local or state regulations
Solicit information from bereaved individuals and families in a time of mourning while maintaining optimum levels of compassion and professionalism

Do simple mathematic equations
Adapt to changing schedules
Contribute to problem solving when needed
