About The Position

This role focuses on customer service, ensuring prospective and current members have plans that meet their needs, rather than a hard sales approach. The position is a contract role with a strong history of conversion to permanent employment. It offers a supportive, hands-on leadership and a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. This role does not offer additional commission.

Requirements

• Active Virginia Health Insurance License
• AHIP certification (or eligible to obtain)
• Health insurance sales, Medicare/D‑SNP experience
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, MS Teams)
• Positive, coachable, and customer‑focused attitude

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls to assess eligibility, explain plan options, provide quotes, and complete enrollments
• Conduct outbound calls during downtime, including D‑SNP Medicaid referrals, CSNP retention outreach, and outreach to dependents who will soon need their own individual plan
• Meet performance goals: 6% conversion rate and 10 enrollments per week
• Follow CMS, AHIP, and internal compliance guidelines
• Transfer misrouted calls and guide ineligible callers to appropriate resources
