About The Position

As a licensed electrician, with either your journeyman or master license, you will lead jobs, crews, projects, and apprentice electricians in order to complete electrical work on new construction projects, in both residential and multi-family buildings. Kimbel Mechanical Systems, LLC is Arkansas' largest mechanical contractor performing work nationwide, performing all phases of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work on projects such as single-family homes, apartments, condominiums, hotels, and student housing. Requirements

  • Must have valid journeyman or masters license from the State Board of Electrical Examiners
  • Strong work ethics
  • Leadership skills and the ability to empower individuals on your team
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Excellent communication skills to be used when working with builders, general contractors, and project managers
  • Ability to work 6am to 5pm Monday thru Friday and an occasional Saturday
  • Journeyman and Master Electricians must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, local city and national electrical codes, practices, and procedures within the electrical field

Responsibilities

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Leading and empowering individuals within your respective team
  • Oversee quality within your project(s)
  • Manage subcontractors being utilized for the job
  • Inspect, install, modify, repair, and maintain electrical fixtures in gas, water, and drainage systems according to applicable building codes
  • Communicate with builders, general contractors, and project managers
  • Build and maintain project schedules to meet deadlines
