About The Position

Expanse Electrical is hiring a Licensed Journeyman Electrician in Williston, ND. This role is responsible for completing customer requests daily, establishing a safe and efficient work environment, and leading an Apprentice Electrician. The electrician will provide electrical services according to standards, identify repair and replacement needs, install, repair, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems and equipment, assist other skilled trades, and ensure tools and materials are available at job sites.

Requirements

Own and utilize own hand tools.
Possess a Journeyman License in the State of North Dakota (preferred).
Be safety-minded and follow safety regulations.
Possess a Valid Driver's License.
Have knowledge of and ability to interpret the NEC Code Book.
Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics and blueprints.
Willing to submit to pre-employment, random and for-cause drug testing.
Ability to effectively and regularly converse and comprehend in English.

Responsibilities

Complete customer requests on a daily basis.
Establish a safe and efficient work environment.
Lead an Apprentice Electrician in the development of their technical skills.
Provide electrical services per district/local/State/Federal and Company standards.
Identify repair and/or replacement needs.
Install, repair, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems and equipment.
Assist other skilled trades.
Ensure that tools and materials are available at job site.
Observe safety and security procedures.
Report unsafe conditions.
Report consistently to work on time.
Follow instructions and take direction from Electrical Foreman.
Provide direction to Apprentice Electrician and non-licensed Electricians.
Perform various advanced electrical tasks efficiently.
Read basic electrical drawings, blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Contribute positively to the productivity of the crew.
Help identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Seek increased responsibilities.
Take independent action.
Be available for call-outs during customer emergencies.
