About The Position

The Church Plumbing, Heating & Cooling team is launching its electrical line of business and is seeking an experienced individual to lead this new department. This role offers a leadership opportunity to guide the department, mentor other electricians, and contribute to the growth of the company's electrical services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and installations, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Expertise in reading blueprints and schematics, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) is required. This position will deliver high-quality electrical services in residential and light commercial settings.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and excellent driving record
Ability to pass drug screenings and background check
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years verifiable residential electrical service experience
Knowledge of local and national electrical codes
Proficiency in reading blueprints and basic cost estimating
Strong oral and reading skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Proficient multitasking and adaptability
Team player with positive attitude
Ability to use smartphone and iPad

Nice To Haves

Experience leading a team or department
Willingness to sit for the Master Electrical Exam (company will pay for it)

Responsibilities

Perform residential or light commercial service calls to diagnose and resolve electrical issues or replacements in compliance with state and local electrical codes.
Maintain accurate documentation of service calls and time management.
Complete all estimates and notes in an accurate and timely manner.
Explain and provide estimates for the services to be performed for maintenance or repair and ensure it is completed to the customer's satisfaction.
Maximize lead opportunities based on company’s business plan.
Provide pricing to the customer for approval prior to performing any work.
Participate in all company-sponsored training classes.
Always maintain a professional image by wearing only company provided apparel.
