About The Position

Kundlas Consulting Group LLC is actively seeking highly skilled Licensed Electricians (Master or Journeyman) to support U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) ACI Temporary Emergency Power operations in Guam. This role supports critical disaster response, infrastructure recovery, and emergency power restoration missions. Personnel must be capable of operating in high-pressure, fast-paced, and austere field environments, often with rapid mobilization requirements. Candidates must be willing to deploy on short notice, work extended hours, and adapt to dynamic operational conditions. Reporting to the Electrical Branch Leader, the Licensed Electrician is responsible for executing temporary emergency power operations, including generator installation, system integration, troubleshooting, and restoration of electrical service to critical facilities. This role involves hands-on fieldwork supporting mission-critical infrastructure, including hospitals, water treatment facilities, and emergency response centers.

Requirements

  • Active Master or Journeyman Electrician License (state-issued or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience with emergency generator systems
  • Demonstrated experience with power distribution and temporary power setups
  • Demonstrated experience with field troubleshooting under live conditions
  • Strong understanding of grounding and bonding requirements
  • Strong understanding of load calculations and system balancing
  • Strong understanding of generator integration with existing infrastructure
  • Ability to work in remote and physically demanding environments
  • Must possess the experience and training required by the issuing licensing authority
  • Master or Journeyman electrical license/certification
  • DOD AT1 certification
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification
  • OSHA 10 (General Industry or Construction) certification
  • IS-815: ABCs of Temporary Emergency Power certification

Responsibilities

  • Install, operate, and maintain temporary emergency power systems, including diesel generators and distribution equipment
  • Perform voltage configuration and phase adjustments based on facility-specific requirements
  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair AC electrical systems, including control panels, switchgear, and voltage regulators
  • Execute generator hookups for separately derived systems
  • Execute generator hookups for non-separately derived systems
  • Conduct load testing, synchronization, and system calibration
  • Re-wire and modify electrical systems to ensure safe and code-compliant operation
  • Interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and field drawings
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA 70 (NEC)
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E (Electrical Safety)
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards
  • Coordinate with logistics, operations, and safety teams to ensure seamless mission execution
  • Maintain accurate field documentation, reports, and timekeeping records
