Licensed Electrical Journeyman (Night Shift) - South Dakota

Requirements
- 4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- State Journeyman Electrical License (Required OR Qualified State Reciprical Licensing).
- Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations.
- Ability to actively participate in daily toolbox meetings with crews and subcontractors when on-site.
- Ability to set a personal example of safe behavior.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers, multiply and divide with 10's and 100's and perform these operations using units of weight measurement and volume.
- Common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
- Ability to work within precise standards of accuracy and follow set procedures and standards.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (including but not limited to- safety toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.).
- Ability to keep good balance and work at heights.
- Ability to see well (either naturally or with correction).
- Ability to hear well (either naturally or with correction).
- Ability to coordinate the use of eyes, hands, and feet.
Responsibilities
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes.
- Ensuring the proper functioning of all electrical units in the facility.
- Conducting scheduled checks to identify any malfunctions.
- Complying with all safety norms and regulations.
- Appropriately using and handling electrical testing and repair equipment.
- Completing all tasks as assigned by the supervising manager.
- Maintaining records of all electrical inventories and ordering spare parts and equipment.
- Maintaining a log of electrical repair and maintenance works.
- Maintaining a professional appearance.
