About The Position
Aura Staffing Partners is seeking a Licensed Dietitian for a full-time contract opportunity at a Mental Health Center in Elgin. This is an excellent opportunity to provide clinical nutrition services in a behavioral health setting while working with a collaborative interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Active Illinois Dietitian License through IDFPR
- Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Nice To Haves
- Clinical nutrition experience preferred
- Behavioral health, psychiatric hospital, or institutional nutrition experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct nutritional assessments and evaluations
- Develop and monitor therapeutic nutrition plans
- Provide patient nutrition education and counseling
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary treatment team
- Primarily perform clinical nutrition duties, with occasional menu revisions and support
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with facility standards
