About The Position

Audubon is currently seeking a Licensed Crane Operator =< 120T to join our team in our Offsite Office. The Licensed Crane Operator =< 120T will operate various construction cranes equal to and larger to 120T to move equipment and other materials to complete project scope.

Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge of operating various cranes which may include but not limited to: Manitowoc 2250, 16000, 4100, Link belt 218, Kabelco 2500, and rough terrain (RT) cranes ranging from 120T and greater.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and illustrate the abilities to inspect equipment.
  • Able to illustrate load planning and lift planning.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Five years' experience in the construction industry.
  • Able to obtain site & Safety training certifications required for the project.
  • Construction safety practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and HSE guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively.
  • Aptitude in math and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently when required.
  • Ability to motivate, lead, teach and train on proper work and safety procedures.
  • Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgment, and solve problems.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing.
  • Individuals must have a valid driver's license and driving record that meets Company requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Related trade school education is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various construction Cranes to move equipment and other materials.
  • Plan operational lifts.
  • Inspect equipment.
  • Be responsible for all safety aspects of operating the equipment.
  • Follow signal directions from a signaler in equipment operations.
  • Access area of operations for safety issues and required processes and planning of equipment operations.
