About The Position

MPAC Healthcare is seeking Licensed Clinicians (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW) who are passionate about providing high-quality care to seniors. This role offers the autonomy of a private practice without the administrative burden, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care and documentation. You will work on-site as part of an interdisciplinary team, addressing the emotional, social, and psychological needs of residents. The position involves providing initial assessments, utilizing psychotherapy, offering ongoing support, and managing all documentation requirements, including staying up-to-date on insurance plans.

Requirements

• Master's degree
• Valid LCSW/LMFT/LCPC license in the state for which you are applying
• Two years of counseling and therapy experience
• Ability to work as a member of a team with a great attitude
• Demonstrated knowledge of Mental Health diagnoses and therapeutic approaches
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to foster open communication with the facility team and your Regional Clinical Manager
• Ability to take initiative
• High level of organization to manage patient needs and document effectively
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong medical knowledge
• Understanding of documentation (CMS, Medicare, Medicaid)
• Nursing home/hospital facility experience

Responsibilities

• Provide initial assessments
• Utilize psychotherapy to address mental health issues
• Offer ongoing support to residents and their families
• Responsible for all documentation requirements
• Keep up-to-date on Medicare Benefit and commercial insurance plans
• Function as an active, lead member on an interdisciplinary team of physicians and nurse practitioners
• Manage caseload and schedule
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, nursing staff, facility social services, and other MPAC providers
• Ensure the mental health needs of residents are met
