About The Position

The Licensed Clinician provides high-quality behavioral health services to individuals receiving treatment within the facility. The Licensed Clinician will be responsible for conducting clinical assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing individual and group therapy, coordinating care with the multidisciplinary treatment team, and supporting patients in achieving their treatment goals. Under the immediate supervision of the Clinical Director, the Licensed Clinician collaborates with an interdisciplinary treatment team to support patients with mental health disorders, facilitate recovery, and ensure continuity of care within the facility and community.

Requirements

Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy or related field preferred, bachelor’s degree required.
Current state licensure required, or appropriate clinical credential consistent with position and applicable regulations
Experience in psychiatric, behavioral health, crisis intervention, or inpatient hospital setting preferred
Knowledge of trauma informed care, and evidence based therapeutic approaches
Strong crisis intervention skills
Excellent communication, de-escalation, and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and clinical assessments of patients.
Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans.
Assist patients in identifying strengths, coping strategies, resources, and recovery goals.
Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and communicate clinical recommendations.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy as clinically appropriate.
Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups addressing mental health, coping skills, emotional regulation, substance use, relationships, and other relevant topics.
Utilize evidence-based and patient-centered therapeutic interventions to support recovery.
Provide crisis intervention and assist with safety planning when clinically indicated.
Assess and respond appropriately to changes in patient needs, risk factors, and clinical presentation.
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and communicate clinical recommendations.
Collaborate with nursing, medical, case management, social services, and other members of the treatment team.
Coordinate aftercare services, including outpatient mental health treatment, residential programs, substance use services, and community resources.
Coordinate discharge planning and provide appropriate referrals and continuity-of-care recommendations.
Maintain accurate, timely, and legally compliant clinical documentation.
Ensure all assessments, treatment plans, and discharge plans meet hospital and regulatory standards.
Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Perform other clinical duties as assigned by leadership.
Maintain professional standards and contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered treatment environment.
