About The Position

American Training, a nonprofit human services agency, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Clinician to provide clinical assessments, evaluations, treatment, and documentation for Guests in its Day Programs. The clinician supports individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs through clinical assessments, behavioral interventions, collaborative care, and structured behavioral plans. The role helps create a safe, respectful, and empowering environment and supports Guests in building skills to thrive. The position is not subject to billable hours and includes mileage reimbursement.

Requirements

BCBA, LMHC, or LICSW licensure.
Master's degree in mental health or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience with mental health and developmental disabilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of behavioral support techniques and planning.
Collaborative, flexible, and solutions-driven approach.
Familiarity with DDS and Human Rights regulations.
Valid driver's license.
Satisfactory CORI and DDS background check.

Responsibilities

Prepare clinical documentation, including safety plans, behavioral plans, behavioral assessments, risk assessments, and mental status exams.
Assess Guests who may be experiencing a psychiatric crisis.
Train Colleagues on treatment plans, behavior plans, trauma-informed care, and topics related to mental health issues.
Attend required trainings and meetings, including risk meetings, human rights meetings, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Write and implement structured behavioral plans and support Guests in building skills.
