About The Position

MPAC Healthcare is seeking Licensed Clinicians (LMHC, LMFT, LISW) who are eager to elevate the standard of care for seniors. This role offers the autonomy of a private practice without the administrative burdens, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care and documentation. The position involves working on-site with residents and their families, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and managing one's own caseload and schedule. Responsibilities include conducting initial assessments, providing psychotherapy, offering ongoing support, and managing all documentation requirements, including staying updated on Medicare and commercial insurance plans.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree and a valid LISW/LMFT/LMHC license in the state for which you are applying.
  • Two years of counseling and therapy experience.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team with a great attitude.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Mental Health diagnoses and therapeutic approaches.
  • Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including other MPAC providers, to ensure patients are getting the best care possible.
  • Knowledge of the Medicare Benefit and commercial insurance plans.
  • Experience in the healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Function as an active, lead member on an interdisciplinary team of physicians and nurse practitioners addressing residents’ emotional, social, and psychological needs.
  • Provide initial assessments, utilize psychotherapy to address mental health issues and offer ongoing support.
  • Responsible for all documentation requirements and keeping up-to-date on Medicare Benefit and commercial insurance plans.
  • Manage patient needs, document effectively and ensure the mental health needs of residents are being met.
  • Foster open communication with the facility team and your Regional Clinical Manager to ensure the success of clinical programs.
