About The Position

Brightline is seeking Full-Time, Licensed Clinical Therapists to provide both onsite and virtual care at our Long Island clinic. We are looking for individuals passionate about evidence-based mental health care for children, teens, and families. The role involves delivering comprehensive care, including therapy, care plan development, and utilizing evidence-based interventions. Therapists will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage in peer consultation, and participate in continuous professional development. There are also opportunities for community engagement and outreach, as well as providing supervision to pre-licensed trainees.

Requirements

  • Availability during Brightline’s peak hours (3pm–7pm)
  • Unrestricted LCSW, LMHC-D, LMFT-D licensure(s) with a minimum of 3,000 hours of supervision completed
  • Demonstrated proficiency and direct experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Completion of one of the following National Examinations (NCE, NCMHCE, AMFTRB, ASWB)
  • Extensive experience treating common concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral issues, trauma, and other similar presentations
  • Strong knowledge of current clinical research and a commitment to staying updated on the latest empirical advancements
  • A clear understanding and deep commitment to ethical standards of care
  • Experience providing care both in-person and virtually

Nice To Haves

  • Specialized experience or certification in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Parent Management Training (PMT)
  • Experience supervising pre-licensed providers
  • A background in, or a passion for, providing high-quality care to pediatric populations
  • Availability to provide care on Saturdays (9 am - 1 pm)

Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive care to kids up to age 18, including ongoing therapy, care plan development, utilization of evidence-based interventions in individual and group formats, and measurement-based care best practices
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, engaging in peer consultation, and engaging in continuous professional development
  • Participating in community engagement & outreach opportunities
  • Providing supervision to pre-licensed trainees (e.g., associate-level masters providers)
