About The Position

Eugene Therapy, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our team in Eugene, OR. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care team, you will be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone. Since 2010, Eugene Therapy has provided individual, couples and family counseling for children, teens and adults. Our clinicians are focused on meeting the mental health needs of our neighbors in Eugene, Springfield and surrounding community. As a Licensed Clinical Therapist, you will provide evidence-based treatment for a broad range of mental health conditions, reflecting the needs of a diverse patient population. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field
  • Active, unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) in the state of Oregon
  • Comfortable providing care both in person and via telehealth within an integrated setting serving patients with behavioral health needs
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and remain organized while managing a focused caseload
  • Value autonomy and flexibility in setting a weekly schedule and choosing a work setting (in person, hybrid, or telecommute) while meeting client needs and productivity standards
  • Interested in contributing to a mission-driven organization focused on high-quality client care
  • Appreciate comprehensive administrative support, including credentialing and business operations
  • Seeking professional development opportunities and participation in consultation and supervision groups
  • Can effectively deliver evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions to outpatient clients (individuals, couples, and families) with varying levels of readiness for change
  • Experience using computers for professional communication and medical documentation (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS or other EHRs)
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of professional experience post-master’s degree providing behavioral health services
  • Experience providing psychotherapy services to individuals and families

Responsibilities

  • Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance use disorders
  • Provide treatment using evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and other modalities
  • Track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in symptoms or complications
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide evidence-based treatment for a broad range of mental health conditions, reflecting the needs of a diverse patient population.
  • Deliver evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions to outpatient clients (individuals, couples, and families) with varying levels of readiness for change.
