About The Position

Iris Telehealth is seeking a full-time Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) to provide virtual outpatient therapy for adult patients through one of their trusted Kansas-based partners. This role requires candidates to either hold an active Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC) license in Kansas or be eligible and willing to obtain LCAC licensure with support from Iris Telehealth. The position is 100% remote and requires the clinician to be available during Central Standard Time (CST) hours in the U.S. only. The therapist will conduct comprehensive initial evaluations, establish treatment plans, and provide individual and family therapy to patients with general mental health and SMI diagnoses. They will also collaborate with a wide network of support, including psychiatry, crisis services, peer support, and case managers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in providing therapy services as an independently licensed Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW).
  • Active Kansas LSCSW license required.
  • Active Kansas Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC) license OR eligibility and willingness to obtain LCAC licensure required.
  • Full-time availability (40 hours per week) during CST hours.
  • Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with patients with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health and substance use needs preferred.
  • Experience and comfort treating patients across varying acuity levels.
  • Telehealth experience preferred (familiarity with SmartCare is a plus!).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and establish initial treatment plans.
  • Provide both individual and family therapy to patients (primarily ages 18+, but includes lifespan), with diagnoses including general mental health SMI.
  • Collaborate with a wide network of support, including psychiatry, crisis services, peer support, case managers, and more.
