About The Position
Huckeye Healthcare is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and qualified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time travel position at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive clinical social work services to patients and families while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The role includes assessing psychosocial needs, providing clinical interventions and counseling, offering crisis support, educating patients and families, and coordinating appropriate care to promote overall well-being.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license.
- Relevant clinical social work experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Excellent assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compassion in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and evaluate patients' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling as appropriate.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing emotional or situational difficulties.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and support treatment goals.
- Provide patient and family education regarding available resources and support services.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow applicable professional standards and confidentiality requirements.
