About The Position

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH) in Springfield, MO is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for their Behavioral Health Evergreen Clinic. The mission of OCH is to provide exceptional healthcare and preventive services with compassion, respect, and dignity, focusing on the underserved and improving access to care. The LCSW will deliver comprehensive mental health services to individuals and families facing mental health and addiction issues, including medical and psychosocial crises. Services will be provided through intensive outpatient services with a caring, friendly, personal, and professional approach. Responsibilities include group work, supportive therapy, discharge planning, and casework services. The number and type of patients served will vary based on patient needs and OCH guidelines.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work from a C.S.W.E. accredited school.
• Active LCSW Licensure within the state of practicing.
• Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. Recertification required before expiration throughout employment.

Nice To Haves

• Three years previous experience in psychiatric/medical social work.
• Position supports primary care and all ages is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health services to individuals and their families experiencing mental health and addiction issues.
• Address blended medical and psychosocial crises precipitated by illness, medical procedures, or subsequent developments through intensive outpatient services.
• Engage in group work, supportive therapy, discharge planning, and casework services.
• Maintain a caring, friendly, personal, and professional approach in all interactions.
