About The Position
The Charles Evans Center (CEC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center offering integrated medical, dental, and behavioral health services in one location ensuring a comprehensive approach to health and wellness. We serve patients of all ages and backgrounds and are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care in a collaborative environment. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our behavioral health team. This full-time role involves providing psychotherapy services to individuals, families, and groups in a supportive outpatient setting.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State
- Current registration with NYS Office of the Professions
- Strong clinical experience required
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with I/DD population a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychotherapy sessions (individual, family, couples, or group)
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Attend and actively participate in supervision and social work meetings
- Deliver quality care in compliance with agency policies and clinical best practices
- Coordinate with medical and behavioral health professionals as needed
- Complete required annual trainings (e.g., fire safety, mandated reporting, universal precautions)
