About The Position

The Behavioral Health LCSW role is a full-time position operating Monday-Friday from 0800-1640. This role is situated on a locked unit with primarily voluntary admissions, though some involuntary admissions are present. Patients are expected to actively participate in a group milieu setting. A high level of attention to safety precautions is mandatory due to patients being admitted with suicidal ideation and stringent contraband protocols. This position encompasses more than just discharge planning and care coordination; it involves providing the full spectrum of behavioral health services on 1-South. These services include assessment, treatment planning, individual counseling, group therapy, ongoing treatment interventions, and discharge planning. Collaboration with Care Management Social Workers mainly occurs during discharge planning and care coordination. As the primary function of this role is the delivery of behavioral health treatment services, it falls under the Behavioral Health reporting structure.

Requirements

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license required.
  • Ability to maintain high attention to safety precautions.
