About The Position

The Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician (LCSW) provides evidence-based mental health and substance use treatment services to children, adolescents, adults, and families within a trauma-informed, person-centered CCBHC setting. Clinicians provide assessment, diagnosis, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and care coordination while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary providers and community partners. This role offers experience working with a broad range of clinical presentations including trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, substance use disorders, co-occurring conditions, and complex psychosocial stressors.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
  • Active New York State LCSW license
  • Experience providing mental health and/or substance use treatment services
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention skills
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual skills (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bengali, or other community languages)
  • Experience in community mental health, integrated care, or CCBHC settings
  • Experience working with children, families, or justice-involved populations
  • Familiarity with telehealth and hybrid service delivery

Responsibilities

  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and risk assessments
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy using evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed approaches
  • Develop person-centered treatment plans and monitor client progress
  • Deliver crisis intervention, stabilization, and safety planning services
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, schools, ACS, hospitals, primary care providers, and community agencies to coordinate care
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and treatment planning meetings
  • Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation within the EHR system
  • Meet program quality, productivity, and regulatory standards
