About The Position

PM Pediatrics Health Care is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join its Behavioral Health Teletherapy Program. This role involves providing comprehensive behavioral health services for common conditions like depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders within an extended virtual primary care collaborative model via teletherapy. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work is required
  • Qualifying social work experience for licensure consists of a minimum of 3000 hours of post Master’s social work
  • MUST have experience with pediatric and adolescent patients
  • Clinical Social Worker licensure required in the state practicing (NJ)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent short-term counseling skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform psychosocial assessments that comply with evidence based practices
  • Providing counseling and therapy for patients using evidence based treatment modalities
  • Display competency as an individual, family, and group therapist
  • Maintain own professional development as required by licensing board
  • Complete required documentation and paperwork, including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner
  • Works closely with patient and family and team to overcome obstacles in treatment
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates cultural competency and commitment
  • Respond quickly to an urgent or emergent need
  • Maintain a caseload of 15-20 patients weekly and a minimum of 5 patients daily
