Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor
About The Position
Ellie Mental Health is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Approved Supervisor (LCSW-S/LICSW-S) to provide high-quality therapy while supervising social workers working toward full licensure. This role is ideal for an experienced clinician who enjoys developing other therapists and wants to work in a flexible, creative, and collaborative environment. Requirements
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
- Active Alabama LCSW/LICSW license with approved supervisor designation (LCSW-S/LICSW-S)
- Completed supervisor training and eligible to provide clinical supervision in Alabama
- Experience with diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain professional boundaries
- Experience working with diverse client populations
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and EHR systems
- Ability to successfully complete a background check
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of clinical therapy experience preferred
- Valant experience is a plus
- Insurance credentialing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation
- Provide high-quality, client-centered therapy
- Supervise pre-licensed counselors pursuing full LCSW/LICSW licensure
- Maintain a minimum of 27 service hours per week, including supervision
- Develop creative interventions based on client needs and goals
- Coordinate care with families, case managers, medical providers, and other professionals
- Participate in clinical meetings, supervision, and training
- Support clinic operations and contribute to a positive team culture
